Installation procedure for Kayzero or Windows.

Data Compatibility: 
      Kayzero for Windows is fully compatible with all Kayzero data.
      Calculated results, other than from Kayzero V5, only need to be 
      recalculated.

Changes:
      Kayzero V5 and V5A incorporated many changes concerning the Library 
      and Coincidence Correction. 
      It is strongly adviced to recalculate all data older than V5A. This includes 
      Coincidence correction factors!

Kayzero for Windows has been tested on: Windows98SE, WindowsME, Windows2000, Windows XP, Vista.

Install program
======================================

---- New to  "Kayzero" --------------------------------------

      Download and Unzip Kay_Pack.Zip to your hard-disk

      Install key (see below)
      Run  KayWin.Exe

---- Upgrade V4 or V5 to Kayzero for windows -----------

      Download and Unzip Kay_Pack.Zip to your hard-disk

      Copy the following files form your previous Kayzero-directory to the new "Kay_f_Win"-directory:

        - kayzero.dat
        - kayzero.abs
        - kayzero.irr
        - kayzero.mon
        - *.par files
        - *.cls files
        - *.blk files
        - solcoi.sta
        - solcoi.tim 
  
      Install key (see below)
      Run  KayWin.Exe

---- Upgrade V5A to Kayzero for Windows ----------------------
      
      Download the latest program update to your "Kay_V5A"-directory  

      Install key (see below)
      Run  KayWin.Exe

---- Update Kayzero for Windows -----------------------------------

      Download the latest program update zip file and put it into your "Kay_f_Win" or "Kay_V5A"-directory  

      Run  KayWin.Exe

---- Software Key ----------------------------------------------

       - Copy your software key file to the Kayzero for Windows directory

---- Hard-Lock USB-key   (dongle)  

     Two types : 

********     new type, delivered, starting 2010 is driverless (black, marked with DL, about 2.5 cm/ 1 inch long) can be inserted at any time.


********    older type, delivered before 2010


       : do not insert this dongle in the USB-slot!!! -------------------

      - First Install drivers for the Hard-Lock USB-Key

      - Run "USB Key Setup.Exe" in the "USB key Setup"-directory 
        (this is included in the Kay-Pack.Zip file but can also be down-loaded seperately).

      - Select The USB-Tab and Press "Install", insert Key .
